The Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) is a job-oriented course designed to provide students with basic to advanced knowledge of computer applications. This course helps learners develop practical computer skills required for office work, education, and various professional fields.
The course includes computer fundamentals, operating systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet and email usage, basic computer hardware, typing skills, and an introduction to digital technology. Special focus is given to practical training, enabling students to confidently use computers in day-to-day tasks.
After completing the DCA course, students can pursue careers as computer operators, data entry operators, office assistants, or clerks in government and private organizations. The course also serves as a strong foundation for higher studies in computer and IT-related courses.
